  1. We are relocating in Nov/Dec and are in the throws of sorting out what to take with us and what not too.
I have a Sony Bravia LCD TV about 8 months old and wondered if I should bring it with us or sell it in the UK.
I have been told it will work in Aus but wanted to ask you guys first to see if anyone has done so.

    Thanks in advance.

Some TV's do work here, probably most of the newer ones.

Australia uses the same settings as Germany, so if your TV can be set for Germany, then it should work, according to the technical data.

My one is set for France, and still works perfectly OK.

  4. Thanks for the reply.
I would only use it to run a sat dish or cable through ( like the sky setup in the UK ).

I woulnn't put normal tv through it, just DVD and sat.

Hope it is ok for that.

    Arron,

Yes all electronics will work fine here, the TV's only have an issue with the normal terestrial signals, and then not all have it.

I had one TV that didn't work, so I added a digi box and all was fine, cable or sattelite will be OK too.

  6. Fantastic I'll bring mine then!

you may have to buy a set top box to run it through, (less than $50 from the good guys), weve just had to replace ours, then it'll work perfectly fine.

my opinion though, bring everything, you will need it! cant believe the amount of things we sold or gave away, and had to replace them.
