    Hi everyone

I've just started the visa process and we are going for the 175 visa as my trade (print finishing) is on the MODL. I've just sent my TRA application (what a pain that is) so we are waiting now. Could anyone tell me the pro's and cons of Brisbane. I've stayed there briefly in 1995 so cant really remember too much but it looks fantastic.
We've got 2 boys aged 4 and 21 months, is it good for them? What are the best areas, are the print companies in the centre or in the suburbs? Any info would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

Hiya we love Brisbane ,my kids were 2 and 7 when we moved here and they love it ,they love being able to go to the beach, swim in the pool and more than anything play outside, even when its raining its still normally quite warm.I like the fact my son no longer uses his playstation as he is always out on his bike,i love being able to have a good day out relatively cheap and there is sooo much to see you cant get bored. One thing that did surprise me was how quick my little one forgot the uk and family there,i show her photos of our old house and she dosnt remember, but i guess thats just her age.good luck with everything and check out www.seek.com for job vacancies

    Hi Cal
could you tell me how long it takes to get into Brisbane from where you are, I've been looking at house prices and seem to get so much more for your money the further out you go.
    Thanks

Thats why we are here, lol, we thankfully managed to buy morgage free and still got acerage. The 2 ways into the city are via the Centenary Highway takes on average 30/35 mins ,or via the Mt Lindsey Highway which can sometimes get chocka but is direct into the city ,this way takes approx 40/45 mins ,hope this helps

p.s if your looking on realestate use postcode 4280 for round here and look for houses on Flagstone Estate.
