Hi everyone, without wanting to repeat previous threads our family have decided to apply for sponsorship at a hospital in Brisbane (The Mater)!! We have started the process and are waiting for an offer from them, they offer a re-location package which would also include accommodation assistance as well. We have friends who live in Albany Creek, North of the river but we have also looked at places Southside, could anyone recommend any areas that would be suited to a young family with 2 girls aged 12 & 5 and obviously a short enough distance for the wife to commute to work at the hospital. The area is so big and just looking on the realestate website can take for ever, looking at where various houses are on the map.

I think I responded to you on Pomsinoz about the Bayside area. Please shout if you want any more information.

Look at Tarragindi, Mt Gravatt, Mansfield, Wishart, Coorparoo, Holland Park West, Greenslopes, Norman Park, Camp Hill, Carina, Carindale, Sinnamon Park, Seventeen Mile Rocks, Chelmer, Graceville, Sherwood as a few suggestions.

  4. Any suburb nearby the Ipswich Motorway (Ipswich Road) would suit you nicely I reckon. 'burbs like Jindalee, Mt Ommaney, Jamboree Heights, Seventeen MIle Rocks to name a few. It's away from the rush from suburbs closer to the city, but still comfortably close to the Mater.
