Hi all, just wondered what you all thought the chances are of hubby getting employer sponsorship as a plumber? i have found one recruitment company advertising on behalf of a company so far? cheers K&J

 

I would imagine it is very hard to secure sponsership as a plumber. The reason i say this is i have known numerous plumbers move here and all struggle to secure work because their uk qualifications are not recognised here. You have to go back to college/ night school at a cost of approx $4000 to get a basic licence, you then have to work under the 'guidance' of a qualified plumber to gain your 'experience'.
