My wife Karen and I will be migrating July/August 07!! Seems soooooo long away and can't wait. We have 2 children aged 2 and 8.
We have been looking at Albany Creek/Strathpine areas but have started looking further afield towards Caboolture.
Can anyone give their views of these areas.
We don't mind being slightly inland within say 10km but would like a pleasant area, good school and upto a 30 minute drive to a good beach 8)

New to the fold

Hi guys,

Firstly let me say it is great to find a site like this, i am sure that it will be most useful to many people.

My wife & I are about two thirds of the way through the migration process. We just had our medicals last week & are hoping to receive the green light on our visa's by the end of the year.

We are planning to 'activate' our visa's around March '07 with a holiday/research visit to Brisbane. We have stayed in both Sydney & Brisbane before & both decided on Brisbane as our first choice, although Sydney is a great place too, it must be said.

We, like many I am sure, are spending many hours on the web doing reasearch, hopefully we can share information with others on here.
