    Hellooo..

Just thought I would post and let people know our experiences at the Manchester Clinic for medicals in the UK...
We were all very nervous when we had our medicals on the 11th March, but it was all unfounded and not necessary.... and if reading this can help someone else feel less worried, then that's super !!!

We saw Dr Smith, who immediatly put us at our ease, and opened the conversation with a joke. He was very efficiant and fast, and very open about the whole procedure.

We chose to pay a little extra and have our medical forms updated on to the system instead of having them posted to Oz, this was a lot quicker too..

The whole family stayed in one room together, and privicy (when undressed to underwear) was ensured by a curtain around the bed area.

Our youngest son was under 11 when we lodged our application, but was 11 (by 4 weeks) when we had the medicals and Dr Smith saved us £95 by showing us the official e-mail saying that he didn't need an x ray..... SWEET ...LOL

All in all it was a much more informal and stressless experience that we expected.... even if it was still expensive !!!!

Hope this helps someone feel less worried ...
