  1. Hi,

Me and my family (wife and 5 year old son) are coming over to brisbane in September, we are on a 457 visa as I am coming over on secondment from my job in the uk to the brisbane office for a few years.

Initially we are looking to live fairly close to the CBD and we have had a look at a few areas, however, as our son in likely to be going to school in toowong and we have seen some nice rental properties there I was wondering if anyone could let me know if they had any thoughts as to the area. What it is like, are there many parks and the like. I understand the commute into the CBD would be ok, either get the citycat, bus or could always walk / cycle along the river (although not so sure could do it in the heat...)

    All thoughts much appreciated

Look up Toowong on ourbrisbane.com and you`ll pick up some information. My OH works in Toowong and likes the area. There are parks everywhere, after all we have a beach in teh middle of teh CBD in Brizzy!!!!

Lifes good here, I think you`ll like it!
