We live about 40 mins south of Brisbane city in a lovely area called Jimboomba. When Zak gets back from school today i will ask him to send you a message. He shouldnt have facebook either really but i have it linked to my e-mail address and he uses it more to keep in touch with his old school friends from the UK.

We havent seen that many snakes, spiders are around but again you dont see them all the time. Lizards are beautiful and eat all the nasty's,lol, so i like lizards ,lol.

yeah i got his email sorry i didnt realize i hadnt checked my inbox,
even though they do eat the nasty insects and stuff they still scare me to death i go all funny when i see them! and its the same about snakees and spiders!
i need something to get me up and going ( if this makes sensse!) cause i am absolutely dead against the fact of moving right now and my mum and dad are getting fed up with me moaning about it !

You said you saw me on Wanted Down Under yes? Did you see how petrified i was of things that crawl? lol

Honestly , you scare yourself more reading about them, yes there is stuff out there but you dont see it all the time, honestly it really isnt that bad.My youngest who is 6 hardly ever wears shoes when she is playing around the land and if it was that dangerous out there i really wouldn't let her.
Lizards wont hurt you, if you come across one it will run in the opposite direction,lol, the tiny lizards (called Geckos) may hang around on the patio roof etc but again they are tiny and wont hurt you,, if you do get brave sit and watch them catch moths etc ,its funny.

Glad you got Zak's message, he was unsure about coming to Oz too at first you know and now he loves being able to play outside most of the time and he says school is better here and not as strict.

Come On Jodz,, dont let them little crawlie things put you off moving,lol, once you have had a month or so here and made some friends you will love it, the area your moving to is great for kids,not to mention the fab beach,, our friends live there and there daughter is 14, she wasn't too keen when she first arrived but has settled in and is doing ok.
You will be ok , i promise , i am even happy to bring Zak up to you when your settled and you can have a chat with him if you like.

Jodez ,, we will never be far away, there is an hour and a half drive between where you are headed and where we are,, you are welcome to phone or we can meet up, but you shouldn't be too lonely as the kids here seem much friendlier and our accents are great for starting conversations,lol.
Yes Jodi is my daughter, spelt a little different to yours though,lol.

Just read that you are moving over to Queensland soon and thought I would message you.
I am 12 years old and just moved to Queensland from Adelaide last month. But I originaly come from Scotland.
I have lived in Australia for 6 years (well almost) and I love it. And have only seen 3 snakes ever, but lots of spiders.
I am an only child and dying for a friend over here. Getting bored of talking to my dogs now, they don't really say much.
When are you moving over to Queensland? Do you know where you will be living?
