    Hi Guys
My other half has already moved to brisbane working for precisionscreen in waco, we will be joining him in june, still looking around all areas that are a decent drive for him and a good school for my daughter who is 13 - 14 in aug. I am the equivalent to your anaesthetic technicians and have worked as an odp for 20yrs now, any advice would be gratefully received and new friends
    thanks
    Helen, leo and megan

    Hi Helen

Wacol is very industrial so although good for work not great for living.

Ipswich is a real upcoming place, had loads spent ,has some good high schools with great reputations, my friend lives at Flinders View, reasonable priced property, nice family area and a mix of older and modern style housing.
Other areas i would look at (if in your shoes) would be
Springfiled Lakes- Great for kids, new purpose built area with everything there, short drive to Wacol, BUT some say a tad to 'squashed in'.
Sinnamon Park - a bit more spacious, short drive to wacol, easy access to the city,
around sinnamon park you have Westlake, Jindalee, jamboree heights, seventeen mile rocks,, al decent areas with access to good schools and a stones throw from Wacol.

If you wanted more room to move or acerage have a look out this way, New Beith, Greenbank, Teviot Downs, Flagstone Estate,Jimboomba. All nice semi rural areas approx 30 mins drive to Wacol so not too far ,you also have a good mix of public and private schools to choose from.

Hope this keeps you busy, lol, if hubby gets stuck with anything, tell him to yell for my number
    Cal x
