Hi we are moving to the Sunshine coast in August (2011) , I am a qualified teacher (PGCE) & have a Masters Degree in SEN, I would like to know what I have to do to register my qualifications prior to looking for a teacjing post/supply work. Does anybody have any advice as to where to start, cheers Jaqueline

Have a look here - all teachers must initially register with the Queensland college of teachers. This site has a load of information for you too. Hope this helps ..

As Myrtle says, you will need to organise your registration before you can apply for work. For overseas qualifications this can take several months to process, so it might be something you want to set in motion before you come over to Australia.
