    Just wondering if there is an equivalent of UK summer 'factory fortnight' in Aus. My husband will be going over in Nov and I know he will break up for Xmas but not sure how long he will have off work. What is the normal summer holiday period?

    no set time but often the week between xmas and new year the office just has a few people in covering.
