First of all if anyone replies and big Thankyou in advance.

We would love to live in Oz, but dont know where to start ball rolling. Husband is self employed joiner specializing in building bespoke decking. (unqualified though).
No dependant children. He will be 45 in July and Im already 45 so I realise time wise we are cutting things a bit fine.
I have distant family members who are Ozzy born. My Grandfather was a £10 Pom in the 60's but sadly passed away some years back.

What are our chances of emigrating?? Are we wasting our time applying??

I believe the criteria is changing from 1st July and the age limit is rising to 49, But ( There has to be a but) a new points system that is due to be introduced could make it harder to gain enough points for visa.

I would suggest looking at a couple of agents who would give you advice, normally a 15 min telephone chat, free,

"Go Matilda" and "Visa bureau" are two well respected and trusted companies, you can find them by using Google. They do an on line assessment and then you will get a phone call to explain your options.

With the forthcoming changes it will be wise (In my opinion) to get professional help at least to see what options you have.

    Good luck

    Hi
To second what Colin mentioned, if you give Visa Bureau a call they should give you a pretty good idea of what visa you could qualify for. It would then be at your discretion if to apply alone or recruit them to assist you.
    Lots of Luck
