    HI there,

Love to hear any good shipping experiences people have had recently for transferring all of their gear from the UK to Australia.

Luckily we don't have lmuch furniture as we've been renting a furnished flat.. but still have tons of clothes and books and photos and cds and kitchenware and 2 bikes!

Am about to start researching different companies, but always good to hear your good experiences! Are there a renowned top 5 that I should check? I will get some different quotes, but you can't beat personal reccos!

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi
We used Crown Relocations and can't fault their service both here and whilst in the UK.

Don't use Doree Bonner whatever you do! We used them and our stuff STILL hasn't arrived in Brisbane and we've been here 4 months now. And they collected it 5 months ago! We'll hopefully get it in 3 weeks as it's in Brisbane Docks...apparently customs didn't like some of the the chrimbo decorations we packed and we'll have to pay $25 for them to destroy some items so check out what you can pack as well. On another note, bring as MUCH as you can afford to bring, it's well expensive here and don't be fooled by people saying "but you're in paradise, put up with it"....we wish we brought loads more.

You should have a look at Crown Relocations - they offer a great service and have offices all over the world, so they would be the ones unpacking your stuff in Australia and will be around to offer you help and advice if you need it when you are out there.
