    Hi guys
    Is it right that qld do not charge school fees for children on a 457 temp resident visa?
    Hope so.

    Hi
    Our 5.5 yo is in grade 1 and we do not get charged on our 457 for public sector. All catholic schools seem to have small charges for all pupils. You dont get any help for daycare, it costs $60 to put our son (3.5) into nursery plus you have to provide food!!

    Shout if you want any other advice

    "Small charges"? - mmm, I think we need to have a chat Heldownunder! I could have coffee and cake everyday if it weren't for those fees! LOL!

    AHA mrs MP...
    You couldnt possibly subject your body to daily cake...
    Small fees in comparison to private
    it was on the news the av catholic school spends $10k pa on pupil whereas public sector spend $11k- so where do your small fees go??
