We have lived in Perth for almost 5 years now, feel like a change.
But not sure on suburbs ???
We are looking to come over nxt year, for a holiday.
    We have 3 young sons.
    They are really into sports.
We want to be close to the beach and the train station.
Is there big industrial areas, my husband is a truck driver. I am a EA.
Want a good school for the boys in a good family, safe suburb.
State school is fine, with good high school......
I feel like I am asking alot...

    Hiya
If you want to be near a nice beach then i would be looking around the bottom of sunshine coast or the Northern end of the gold coast. Brisbane and its surronding suburbs dont really have any nice beaches other than the man made one in the city.

The northern end of the gold coast would also give you access to the industrail areas of Yatala and smaller areas of Beenleigh down towards Nerang.
Beenleigh and Yatala themselves may not be your cup of tea for living in as they are quite industrail but some lovely areas not to far away include
Coomera, Upper Coomera, Oxenford, Helensvale,Jacobs Well, Pimpama.

A little further inland but still an easy commute to the beach or the highway where Yatala is have a look at Windaroo. Nice family area, decent high school and close to all ammenities.

Good luck with your plans and have a fab holiday / reccie

Hiya! We moved over 3 months ago from Perth and love it here. We're living in Lota which is bayside - 17km from Brisbane. Miss being able to walk to fantastic beaches (45mins drive to Gold Coast and 1hr+ to Sunshine Coast) but love all that Brissie and surrounding areas have to offer.
Doing a reccie is best way to get a feel for the place. Feel free to PM me for any info. Good luck!
