Just wondering, as this is my first time on here(BritsinBrisbane), what the job situation is like for Plumbers? Are there any job? How much do you get paid? etc etc etc. Infact any info you can throw my way would be good.

OH is fully qualified Plumber here in the UK and we have our visa's (176).

Finding a job isnt too difficult for plumbers but getting the licence to do the job first is much harder and can take months, regardless of any skill recognition you had done to get the visa.

Look into licencing carefully before you arrive and budget for this. Quite a few plumbers i know have secured unskilled work until they can get their licence so that is something else to think about.
