 feel like i'm doing a round robin here. born in swinton, lived in atherton, horwich, blackrod, hindley green and now westhoughton. support wigan ruby league club for past 20 + yrs and head off to brissy hope fully aug/sept this year. i'm a community nurse but will have to go back into a hospital before i can apply for community post. initially going out on my own whilst hubbie ties up all the loose ends over here, house to sell, kids! well not really they are 23 and 21 and still deciding whether to come out or not. would be happier if they came with us but if they don't want to commit they can at least come for an extended holiday.
i love brisvagas and can't wait to get out there. linds x

LOL, i dont think i will ever lose my accent, which isnt a bad thing really as people always stop to chat and see where your from. My 5 yr old has started to pick up the twang and uses 'aussie' words for certain things i think she will be the one to sound like a true aussie first!
I dont think i could handle the cold now, lol, i freeze here in winter so would probably just curl up and die there now, lol.
I love Jimboomba, i call it my little happy medium cause its inbetween everything and not to far to anything, lol,Its a lovely family area very little crime and houses within budget. If you look on realestate.com put postcode 4280 in the seacrh , look for the houses on Flagstone Estate,
