I thought I posed this but I can't find it so I am sending it again.

Has anyone done there TRA through pathway E.

We have spoken to a company who will sort out the AQF lll and do the TRA but they are in Perth so it would be better if we could find the same company but in Brisbane as we have been to Perth and loved it but are now thinking we would like to move to Brisbane so when Tim has to fly over to Oz to do practical part it would be better to go to Brisbane to have a look round.

So if anyone knows of a company we could contact in Brisbane it would really help.

    Thank you for your help.

im looking at doing the same thing, im a roofer without any quals and my agent said that i can either do the assessment in perth at a cost of $1500 or can get assessed here at a cost of £2000 but im waiting to see if they open up the old pathway were work experience is valued, we will know this in july or august apparantly but im not holding my breath, as far as i know they only do the practical in perth but i may be wrong..good luck anyway

    Hi there,

We are in the same situation, my husband is a roofer of 10years, with his own business, but he has no 'formal' qualifications, so we now have 2 options:

1/ Apply for the NVQ2 & hope that the new TRA guidelines, when they finally come out are favourable for us

2/ Apply for the AQFIII here in the Uk for £2000 & apply under pathway E

At the moment we are going for option 1, with the hope that in the next few weeks we will have a date given by the TRA.....If not, or if that date is way of in the distant future, then it will be option 2 for us, for sure.

    Hows things going for you?

    Kelly.
