Hi all
We have arrived in Brisbane and are loving it! We thought we would update you all on our adventures in Brissey to date! We are stopping in Samford Valley for 4 weeks (very posh, very expensive but very lovely!) whilst we orientate ourselves and get things arranged like long term rent, car, school etc. On the school side, hopefully kids start tomorrow following meeting last week with principle, need to buy unifom today, more money!!
We have had a drive around several suburbs near to our place of work and have narrowed it down (due to cost, location to work and access to train into city) to Bray Park, Warner, Petrie, Joyner... any other ideas anyone or any thoughts on these areas? More importantly, areas to stay clear of!!!!
We have visited a garage to look at used cars, again very expensive, and have identified one which we will pursue this week whilst kids are in school. Going to meet our new bosses today and tomorrow so will have a better idea of what's expected of us then.
As well as the suburbs we have visited the City, Soutbank (cool beach and lagoon), Bribie Island and today we are off to Redcliffe.
Any info or advice would be good
