    Hello,

We are couple in our 30's with two children and we are trying to move from Athens (Greece) to Brisbane.
We would like some information on which suburbs we can search for a house to buy based on the following:

    1. House price range 350000 - 450000 AUD
    2. Good state schools (primary)
    3. Low crime rate
    4. Away from riverbanks, valleys and generally places that maybe affected by flooding.

We would really appreciate your help.
    Thanks in advance.

    Rob

    Hi Rob
Look on Google maps or Realestate.com for Flagstone Estate, Jimboomba (postcode 4280). We have lived here 5 years and its a great area, growing fast but ticks all your boxes. The main thing is the estate does not flood.

    Hi Cal,
Thanks for you reply. We are actually looking at ares a bit closer to the CBD as we don't want to spend more than half an hour commuting. I should have mentioned that in my 1st post. Thanks anyway.

LOL, no problem , here is no good then as it takes about 40mins.
Id have a look at the western suburbs, such as Sinnamon Park, Jindalee etc ,good value for money on property, both nice areas, schools seem ok and pretty handy for commuting to the city. You may find your going to struggle buying a nice house on your budget in alot of the inner city suburbs, like everything the closer to the city the higher the price.
