Try areas such as Springfield, Springfield Lakes and Forest Lake - Very Nice Areas according to my Future Boss in Oz!!

Springfield is lovely ,still quite new with new schools and uni ,huge new shopping centre and still handy to ipswich centre or Brisbane City.
Forest lakes is a bit older and some parts show this but still a decent family area ,good schools ,easy access to the city and popular with poms and aussies.
Out of the two id go for Springfield Lakes but all are worth a look.

Coomera and upper coomera are lovely places ,ive had a couple of familys settle there and they are very happy ,one has just bought a house at coomera waters and they love it ,definately worth putting on your list for places to check out. Pacific Pines and Oxenford are also quite popular.
