hiya guys we are having a meet up at the Ian Dipple Lagoon down at labrador on the 23rd feb from 11am if any of you guys fancy a trip out.Its a lovely family friendly beach with a big playground too.Theres BBQ's,picnic tables and the world famous Charis fish and chip shop ,if you dont fancy making the buttys!! should be a few of us there just look for a P,I,O (poms in oz) banner in the tree normally to the left of the kids play area,or the unmistakeable pommy accent ,,lol,,look forward to seeing some of you there

We are due to come over to validate in Nov so if you are having another meet around that time we will come then...

Hi is the get together on 23rd Feb at Ian Dipple Lagoon still going ahead,. Don't want to turn up and nobody be there!!!

 

If its on we'll come along aswell, we knock about with a few other poms on the coast and they'll want to come too........any excuse for a get together.

 

Just realised the 23rd is a Monday and the post was dated Jan 08 so I figure were a year too late. Oh well if anyone wants a meet on Sun the 22nd feb 09 instead were up for it.

Lots of people on the GC regually ask to meet up, I dont have time to do the meets anymore but you could always arrange one, between here and PIO im sure you would get a good turn out.

meet up for coffee

Hi just read your post that you arranged to meet up with fellow poms back in feb.......do you all meet often, just moved to the area after living in different areas and wondered if you do still meet up, did a few come? we are from spalding lincolnshire and need to make friends, i do not work so are free to meet for a coffee most days.
