Nurses/Midwives - Mater Mothers...

Hi all!

Any midwives who work at Mater Mothers hospital Brisbane or people that know such midwives...

What shifts/hours do you/they work? Are shifts 12 hours like they can be in the U.K. or are they different at the Mater hospital???

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Can't help with the midwife bit but i have a job in theatres in the Mater private hospital and when i was speaking to them most seem to work short shifts but are open to suggestions and if it will benefit the service will look at different shift patterns i guess the other mater hospitals may work on the same idea.
