PM Cal on here. She has a relocation business and is up to speed on local areas! She should be able to help you out!

    hi daz & Claire

It is really down to personal preference - there are so many places to choose from. What sort of a life style are you after - country, coastal or city - or a mixture! Is it just the two of you or do you have children? I live on the Sunshine Coast and for me its perfect! I am 50 mins from Brisbane, 20 mins from the nearest beach yet I live in the beautiful Glasshouse Mountains. If you want to be a little nearer you could try North Lakes or Mango Hill they are very popular, then you also have the Gold Coast which has lots of suburbs Helensvale and Gaven are nice.

As Spring Hill is right in the city you may well find its better to rent just outside the city and commute.Rentals and property prices are quite pricey in the centre but a few minutes out you can see a price change. There are lots of suburbs near by they have good rail links if you needed public transport (city driving can be a nightmare,as can roads in and out). Albany Creek is quite popular ,i have relocated a couple of familys there now it is a lovely suburb. Also dont rule out places on the west side such as Sinnamon Park,Westlakes etc all very popular and only a short distance to the city.
It is so difficult to get the feel for an area without actually going which is why i think we do well with the relocations, most familys seem to stay in our furnished accommodation for a few weeks whilst they have a drive around and check out areas,we can then assist them to secure a rental in a suburb of their choice.Good luck with everything, just plan on driving ,driving and driving some more once you arrive.
