Hi John, we moved a year ago from Essex to Adelaide and used John Mason, they were brilliant too at both ends. Paid £3650 for a 20ft container and it arrived a week early too, took just under 6 weeks.

 

I went Newcastle to Adelaide and used John Mason 6 months ago...they were 12 weeks late and a huge insurance claim...horrendous both side. They used Wridgways who 'advised' us to get rid of a BRAND NEW leather suite...!!!. Hope it helps...they say the right thing then try getting them to do it...laughable was the serve I used...and paid over the odds too...

Insurance company was Letton Percival and they were amazing from dot one...I speak highly of them... ;-)

 

We used Simpsons who were also fantastic both ends and very reasonable cost. No breakages and container took 10 weeks.

 

We used Crown. The guys were brilliant at both ends. The packers get a bonus if there are no claims after delivery, so it's in their interest to pack well. Crown have their own climate controlled warehouse at Brisbane docks. Whatever you do, don't take the first price offered. There is fierce competition between them. And examine the insurance cost/prices.

 

Hi John, we moved from SE London to Brisbane 3 months ago, with all our goods arriving safely last month. No breakages and no problems with customs or inspections. We used PSS (http://www.pssremovals.com/). We considered about 1/2 dozen companies, and short listed and got quotes from Bonners, Pickfords and PSS. We found PSS competitive and best for our needs. It cost £3932 for sole use 20DV, with a 'free' tea chest air freighted - so it arrives just before you do and helps with those difficult first few months when you arrive without most of your goods!
