Hi....

Does anyone have children that play for a junior soccer team in the Wynumm, Manly or Tingalpa area?

We fly on the the 31st of October and will be looking for a local soccer team for my son Daniel that would be playing U10 football if in the UK.

Do they have such things as acadamies in Auz? He currently plays for Aston Villa u10's at the moment and would like to join an academy footbal team in Auz if possible? If not Daniel would be just as keen to join a local football team/club where there are other children that have emigrated from the UK. This is mainly to put his mind at ease and see how they have settled in, so any local Soccer team recommendations would be appreciated.

Also do any schools offer sports scholarships for Soccer? I see a few do for Rugby but not sure about Soccer....

If anyone else has children of this age in Wynnum or Manly please get in contact as he is worrying about making friends.....
