Hi, I am at the research stages and wanting to know if any single parents have made the move to Queenland, I have 2 small kids age at the minute 2 and 3, i estimate it will take about 2 years to get all sorted here.
I am a vocational teacher of hairdressing and should be able to get skills visa, i think i would have 1 child ready to start school and the other pre-school by the time i get there, as anyone any idea of costs of childcare the rest of the time as i hopefully will be working full time if i can get enough work.
Is there any help with childcare costs etc.
I would be grateful for any help anyone can give me.

Lots of single parents survive ok over here, however im not sure id consider it unless i had a PR visa which gave me access to Centrelink benefits to help with child care and top up my income.
