Hi there. I have been self-employed in Ireland as a commercial/private sector tiler for almost 20 years. Trade is on the "wanted" list, and have decided to try and make the move. Any advice on work opportunities/ sponsorship opportunities in the tiling industry would be gratefully accepted, or any advice on the whole process from A-Z that you can give. Thanks, Kev

    Hi Kevin, Welcome to LIQ,

Fist things first, you need to know that you qualify for a visa and what hoops you have to jump through to get one. I would initially suggest you contact a reputable agent and work out what visa would suit you and how to go about applying, also the time frame involved in getting the visa, (can be a few months to a few years).

"Go matilda" and "Visa Bureau" are two companies that spring to mind and you can make on line enquiry and normally get a 15 min chat to discuss your options for free. Then you will have a better idea of what to do, You do not have to use an agent to get the visa after the initial advice you can decide what route to take.

We have a sister site www.pomsinoz.com that has forums to discus migration on a deeper level and you may find it beneficial to take a look at that site as well.

I hope it all goes well for you, feel free to ask questions and we will do our best to answer them.
