    Hi All,
I have been offered a job in Brisbane, but looking at some of the house price rentals, some seem to be rather higher than expected.

My family and i want a three bedroom property, within travelling distance from the city centre. so idea's on good locations would be helpful.

Has there been a price increase, since the floods?
What should we expect to pay for a reasonable three bed property?

Is there any hidden pitfalls to moving to Brisbane?

    Thanks for your help

Hi the best site for looking at rentals is www.realestate.com . The nearer the city you are the more you will pay for a decent house. If you need to be within an easy commute of the city have a look at the western suburbs, Sinammon Park, Jindalee etc all lovely places were should get a nice rental under $400 pr week.
$350 upwards should secure you a good rental in a good area outside the actual city.

I live in Sinnamon Park and rentals are going for about 440-500$ per week for a 4 bed 1 bathroom home.

This is an up to date price as we had our place checked out as we were thinking of moving and renting it out
