Can anyone help.....

We are landing in Brisbane soon and we need somewhere to stay for a few days until we sort out alternative accommodation. Has anyone got any recommendations on which B&Bs or Hotels to stay in? Don't want anything too pricey, but at the same time, don't want to stay in a hostel.

There is a formula one hotel just over the roundabout from the airport road,they arent normally too expensive

Hi Brendan,

Have a look on this website. Have used them many times through work and they are very reliable.
They specialise in hotel rooms for the next 3-4 weeks or so - As such they are well priced.
The full rate is listed on the left and the actual rate is in the square for that date.

There are lots of types of accom on here so you will need to do some filtering and sorting

Then just hit Brisbane and get filtering (prices on mine are in AU$ so roughly half it for GBP.)

Do you want to be in any suburb in particular for house viewing and the like?

Not sure yet of where we will be staying, need to look into the various suburbs. Any that you could recommend in Northern Brisbane would be really helpful.
