Hi everyone,
new to this site although I use the "Poms in Oz" one. Not sure if this is the best place to put this post but here goes.
My partner and I hope to be over around march 08 if all goes well. We were thinking of renting a holiday let near the coast for 2/4 weeks just till we get settled, then will be looking to rent near our jobs.

1. Has anyone any web sites we can visit we are looking for a studio/1 bed place. I have interviews mainly around south and west Brisbane but would also like a bit of a break as well. We won't have much dosh so nothing too expensive please.

2. We want to hire a car for a bit, anyone know of a good company?

3. What about car insurance and household insurance. Anyone know of any companies we can try?

We don't necessarily want to organise everything before we go but would like to have it ready for when we arrive. I immagine i'll have alot to think about as it is, so just want to be sorted. :?:
