Hi, we might be moving to Brisbane/Adelaide next summer. Does anyone recommend any high schools in Brisbane (in any suburb)?
    Thanks, Elise :)

    Hi Elise
There are loads of good high schools in and around Brisbane, both private and state. You will probably find your not the only English girl there either, lol. Maybe when your family have decided on an exact area we can narrow down some choices for you.

Again it all depends on the school, some schools do, some just have ceiling fans with the odd room air cond. Hope this helps

Hi, haven't been on here in a while but we're moving in July and will be staying in rented accomodation in Kenmore for a month! We've been thinking about Kenmore State High School, do you know anything about it, good or bad?! :L

Hi All, moving to brisbane in September and hoping to get our three girls into school for the last term commencing 3rd Oct. Is this practical with schools.. hoped to get the three girls into the St Mary Immaculate school. They can accommodate our 8 and 12 year old but not our youngest in prep class. the youngest finished prep school in Ireland last week so would be due to go into the next grade - she wont be six until november. Anybody have any suggestions. The Mary Immaculate was our first choice as the High school is in the same complex and it would have been great to have them all together... Our other girls are aged 8 and 12 (12 yr old will be 13 in January 2012 and has just finisher her 8 years of primary school in Ireland on the 22nd June last..

    Hi
It shouldn't be a problem, we've done it twice without any problems. When we first moved to Oz (Melbourne) our boys started school around the end of October (around 6 weeks of term left I think), then when we moved to Cairns last year, they started a new school in December with about 2/3 weeks of the school year left.
