    Hi welcome to the site,
North lakes, lol, you either love it or hate it, everything is there shops, schools, etc , some stunning houses , not bad prices, good highway access but for me personally it is all too squashed in and your neighbours are very close. The aussies nicknamed the area 'little britain' due to the amount of poms living there so as i said , some love it , some hate it ! The best thing you could do would be to drive around your shortlist of suburbs and see which YOU feel suits your needs best, after all we are all different.

    hi cal
thanks for your comments. you are quite right, the houses are very close together indeed. however for our purpose this area would do for a few months.
i notice that you offer relocation packages including furnished houses. could you help us out? we are looking for a 3/4 bedroom furnished house near north lakes/narangba (preferably with pool-promised the kids!). we are looking to rent for at least 1 year from june.
let me know if you have anything available
    thanks
