First time on site,T R A just been accepted im a pipe fitter/welder i visited scarbourgh in march this year more than just agreat place .Could anyone tell us any good schools for dylan 9 and my little girl morgan 7,and any company,s that do my sort of work,sunshine coast way.what a countryHi

 

Hi i live in scarborough been here since jan 09 i have 3 kiddies and they all go to scarborough state school - it is a big primary school 850 pupils! but i am very happy with it and more importantly the children have settled in realy quickly have met some realy lovely friends and are happy.
from what i gather from other folk ive met they seem to be happy with the other schools they have chosen also

thanks For the info is it straightforward to get the little,ns enrolled.When i was there in march i went to the Marina for my dinner and a few beers,i stopped at the holiday village nxt door.Have they fixed the roof on the Scarbourgh hotel yet

Hi cal thanx For the welcome im still getting used to the site, only been useing a computer a couple of months so it still feels a bit strange,but thanx

 

hiya the enrollment process is simple just the usual forms - They do not refuse any children the principle infromed me they just employ more teachers and add another class if they get to full and then do the opposite if the enrollment goes down - found that very strange after being in england although they tell me here that children come and go all the time as the population seem to move around the country quite a bit. The Hotel roof is still in the process of being repaired and the climbing trees in the playground is also closed - its been pretty wild here with the weather even the bridge was closed for a few hours during the worst of the storm.
