Just a hello all .......my husband and I arrived 7 weeks ago on a 457 Visa and have settled in really quick, although I didn't have a job on arrival I was offered one and started it just 6 days after getting off the plane......we also viewed houses, found the perfect place in Victoria Point, secured the rental and moved in within 8 days - so it was all a bit whirlwind, now just waiting on our furniture to arrive from the UK and we will be totally settled.
As much as we miss our family's and friends were really happy so far and feel we definitely made the right decision in moving here. :biggrin:

 

Congratulations and well done!! Just hope my move to join my husband when I have been granted my VISAwill be as smooth, I also have to find work, so your post as really boosted my moral, as missing my husband, will probably be late July/August till I am granted my VISA. Luckily he is Oz so already have a place to live. Keep us updated x
