Hey .............My husband and I are moving to Brisbane hopefully end of January/Early February 2012 were moving out on a sponsored Visa, my husband's job is in Mansfield so not decided exactly which area were going to live in yet (he's happy to have a commute to work) and were very very very excited about getting there!! :biggrin:

Hi and welcome to the forum, there are loadsssss of nice places within a reasonable commute of Mansfield so it depends what you as a family want. Lots of luck with everything, it should be nice and warm when you arrive,lol.

Mansfield is a quiet family area with a very good govt high school. What sort of area are you looking for?

 

Hey to you Babyboxer, we arrive on the 9th Jan. We are starting in Paddington for 3 weeks, during which we hope to find a longer term rental until we buy. I have work in the CBD although I don't mind a short commute. We quite like the look of Manly/Lota by the coast. How are you finding these last few weeks? We are excited, we've both finished work but find we have loads to do. We're a little stressed but we think this will ease over the next few weeks - 23 days to go, yeah.
