    Hi guys
This is a long shot but I NEED SOME HELP.I am visiting my 8yr old daughter who was allowed to move here in November after a protracted expensive legal case.I am looking for somewhere to stay between 5th Jan and 18th Jan as a basic base whilst we enjoy spending father/daughter time together around Brisbane and the Gold Coast. If you know of anyone who has suitable spare accomodation please would you ask them to let me know.
Apart from the theme parks, if you are aware of any good activities around Brisbane, that an 8 year old girl might enjoy, I'd love to hear from you.
    Thanks

    Hi Mate
Im fully booked i'm sorry as i would imagine most furnished accom is. In your shoes id try Brisbane Holiday Village or Ashmore Palms on the Gold Coast, but are cabin parks with all ammenities on site.

For things to do in and around Brisy, have a look at Ourbrisbane.com and mygoldcoast.com for ideas, does your daughter have a theme park pass if she lives in QLD? If not it may be worth asking her mum to arrange one as this will give unlimited entry for her at various parks and make things much cheaper.
-There are the Glow Worm caves at Mt Tamborine ,great for a rainy day outting.
    - The walking/cycling tracks with parks on, along the Gold Coast front, great for littlies and their bikes/scooters.
-The man made beach at Southbank in Brissy city ctr, there are also museums etc dotted around there.
    - The Zoo at either sunshine coast or Currumbin on the GC. There is also a Koala Park south Brisbane.

Hope this starts your 'Idea List' off and have a great time with your daughter.
    Cal x

Thank you Cal and Colin for your info.

Ill look into the passes -I have found a site called my fun.
The caves sound like a great idea and I will try the web addresses you suggest.
    Regards
