  1. Hi everyone,
At long last our visas arrived 2 weeks ago, what a great xmas pressie, also on the same day I found out I am 12 weeks pregnant, even better xmas pressie.
Trouble is we all (2 kids already under the age of 4) now have to get to Brisbane for April ( selling 1 house, 1 business, and 2 cars beforehand aaaahh!!)
Anyway I would be so grateful for any info on the best hospitals, in which areas, and advice medi-care (I think thats what its called ).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
p.s. we really must get our t.v. fixed!!

Hiya where abouts in Brisbane are you headed? this may determine which hospital you use. Doctors etc work slightly differently , for example if i need blood tests there is a 'pathology shop' next door to my clinic so i see the Dr then go next door , certainly easier than traipsing upto the hospital!!
The women hospitals seem to be Mater Mothers who cover private and public clients or the Royal Women's hospital although most of the others will have maternity beds.
If you are on PR Medicare will cover most costs , i believe extra scans or anything like that have to be paid from your pocket.
    More than anything
    Lots and Lots of luck

  3. Thanks for the advice Cal, sorry for the delay, I had trouble logging on to website.
We're not sure which area we're moving to but it looks like it'll be south suburbs clost to CBD so Maters Mother Hospital will probably be our best bet.
I see that your company specialize in lettings, we'll be needing your help nearer the time. Do you cover all of Brisbane? We'll be looking for a holiday let for about 6weeks to begin with, any info would be great.
Thanks, speak soon (if I dont have any probs with logging on!! :)

The mater seems to carry a good reputation so i dont think you will go wrong there.

    Good Luck with everything
