    Hi debbie,
I just wanted to say hello as I am also a nurse and have 2 children 6 & 3. We are planning to move to Brisbane this year, but not sure when as the visas haven't arrived yet, and we haven't sold the house...
We are hoping to move to Morningside/ Hawthorne/ Norman Park as we know these suburbs are nice.
Good luck with it all and keep us updated

Hi Kate. How are things with you? We sold our house in October as we thought to sell and move abroad would be too stressful.Saying that is has been stressful at times living at my parents! Have you looked for work yet? Geneva are now telling me the larger hospitals are recruiting themselves and not using the agencies. This time last year the hospitals told me to join an agency!? I looked at The Mater yesterday and they have a position ive applied for,so im just waiting now.I have considered looking for work when out there. How are you doing it? Good luck with the house viewings.Let me know how you get on.Keep well Debs.

    Hi Debs,
We got our visas through today, so very excited. No news on the house at the moment. I haven't done anything about jobs yet, but now that we have got the visas I can start doing that. Have you had your interiew yet? I am feeling pretty nervous about that as I have't had to go through an interview for years!
Let me know when you have found something. Kate
