Hiya ambulance cover is included in your elec bill so your ok there.Medicines and treatment you do pay for i would imagine similar to Sa,average Dr appoitment $50 and medicare pay back $36,,unless your lucky enough to find a competant bulk billing Dr,,

so, you pay to see the GP..meds are quite expensive out there i'm on a couple of long-term meds think i'll try and sort something out herbal that works just as well .can't be doing having to go see the GP every couple of months for a script might as well set up camp out side the surgery. but what is bulk billing??
so many things to learn about:err: thanks linds x

If your Dr bulk bills it means Medicare pay them direct and you do not pay for the consultation. I use a local bulk billing centre if the children are poorly but you arent guaranteed to see the same Dr every time. As i need regular prsecriptions and blood tests etc i prefer to go to my clinic where i do see the same Dr (saves me explaining my condition every time), unfortunately they dont bulk bill and prices have recently gone up, a consultation now costs me $63 with Medicare refunding approx $36.
Hope this helps a bit, Medicare takes a bit of understanding but you will grasp it in the end,lol
