    Hi

My hubby is due to do his practical test in joinery/carpentry in Apr this year. Just wondering any joiners/carpenters struggling to get work at the moment. We have had some mixed reports on work situations. we are looking to move to Gold Coast, last year there wasnt enough joiners to cope with all the work in Oz, but was just wondering if work has slowed down or even stopped like it has over here in sunny England (Ha Ha)

I hope not as this is one of the main reasons we have applied to Oz. Well that any many more!!! such as lifestyle, weather, better for kids (Oh I could go on forever!!!!)

If anyone has any info please let me know

    Thankx

Hiya carpenters like most tradies do seem to be struggling at the moment, i hear things are not quite as bad as in the UK yet but yep, its tough at the moment. This week the Gold Coast announced a jobs expo to try and help some of the current unemployed find work.
