    we hope to be out by end of september,as im over 45 ,we are going the route of my wife [30] studying as a student hairdressing in brisbane, i am trying to find out if there is any demand for handyman/gardener/window cleaning in the northern suburbs up to caboolture, i know i wont be able to do plumbing etc , but have renovated 4 houses this year one being ours thats up for sale or swap at moment, and have been doing this work for many years, just want to make sure i can get 20 hrs a week so i can be earning , dont care what it is around the house i can do it, this is my first post hoprfully soon looking for a 4/5 bed rental maybe burpengary area, thanx for any help:biggrin:

    Hi you could try contacting the real estate agents in the area you settle and see if they need any handyman. A plumber i know is doing this until his licence comes through, he mows grass and does any odd jobs mainly to rental propertys. It would mean you are self employed so you would have to get a ABN etc.
