We have now sold the house and the paperwork is nearly complete and we are looking at emigrating to Brisbane in the last week in Aug/1st week in Sept.
Having spoke to a few people who have emigrated in the past there seems to be a massive difference on opinion on international removal firms..I've heard stories of people having most of their cargo, damaged or lost altogether and compensation claims being delayed or offered out at paltry amounts...scary stuff.

Can anyone advise of any good firms that would service the Scottish region? Likewise can you advise me of any companies to steer away from due to bad reputation. It's a lot of money to spend if the job isn't done right and your cherished belongings don't arrive as you left them so any advice gratefully received.

Crown relo ,ive used them twice and both times they have been great,most of all its crown here too so no sub contractors ,hope this helps
