We have our flights booked for 7th sept. Morris our dog flies on 3rd sept . Our crate is going 3 weeks earlier as we have decided to sit on a mattress and watch a portable for a few weeks here so that we dont have to in Brisbane. We are stopping in Singapore for 3 nights on route and have booked in with cal for 3 weeks. Our house is sold , our private reg plate is sold. A lot of my exess building matierials have sold. We have organised a party for 31st aug. Only our car and van to sell. If everything is going so smoothley why are we not sleeping . The 11 weeks can't go fast enough as the pressure is unreal. Hope it's not raining in Brisbane when we get there or my 13 year old will flip as he is leaving all his friends for better weather:cool:. LOL (or cry) that is the question.

We should be moving not long after you guys. We are moving out of our home on 18th Aug into temporary accomodation so will also be roughing it for a while! Hope to get flights booked in the next couple of weeks.
Haven't looked at prices yet (in denial), how much is an average one way flight?

Hi Kate, we are moving into temp accomodation for 5 or 6 weeks before we go. Thats when we are sending all our belongings out. We paid £633 each for Singapore airlines (£464 for flights and the rest in taxes and surcharges). Over 11s count as adults. We try and drink as much free champagne as we can on the flights, because the more you drink the cheaper the flight seems. Plus it makes you sleep a lot of the long hours away.
