    Hi folks,
Well....after years of me nag nag nagging, my wife has finally agreed to give the Oz adventure a go!!
Whoop whoop! I'm now on such a high I that I can't explain how I feel but I'm pretty sure most of you can remember the feeling once you'd finally made this huge decision?
Does anyone have any info on well respected agents that I could contact to get this massive ball rolling?
Many many thanks in advance from a very very excited Simon. :biglaugh:

Lol! Hi Cal, thanks for the replies.
We are also searching for some descent suburbs as a base preferably nearish to the water. Any ideas?
    Thanks. Si.

Hi Congratulations on making the decision... I used the same agent as Cal and could not fault them. Price was on a par with other agencies and service was second to none.

    Congratulations!!

I've just had my Partner Visa granted so am also very excited about the move to Aus!! I used Concept Australia for my application and found them a great help. They made sure my application was tip top before submission. The processing time didn't take as long as expected, 4 months from submission so not bad at all : )

I wont lie the processing time has been hard at times; the constant worry and feeling in limbo has been a struggle. Although, I have an Aussie partner who is desperate to get home so that obviously added to the pressue of it all. It's been hard to see the wood through the trees at times but remain positive and look to the future!!

    Good luck for the future.

    Hey Cal,
We are looking at the Cleveland area as we have friends there.
The plan is to rent for a year whilst we find the perfect area to settle.
Im a Driving Instructor here in the UK so I'll have to build my business back up in Oz but wifey is a Staff Nurse so I'm sure she will be fine on the job front.

When did you apply for your visa? Is it a partner visa you've got? I applied for mine in late November and just wish it would arrive, it's driving me mad :( I've contacted the embassy too and they just reply with the same email "application process is 5 months at the moment" not very helpful or reassuring at all

Hi we also used Visa Bureau, really happy with them. Also settled in Cleveland which is a really nice spot not too far from the city, would have prefered to be on the Goldcoast because of the beaches but was too far from Brisbane for work etc. so Cleveland (one small beach) but lots of water, marina etc. so next best thing x
