Well done on getting the visa. I guess the visa is the part where you really have the least amount of influence. Now is the part where at least you can push things along and make choices yourself.

I suppose that now you're knee deep in shipping quotes/cancelling subscriptions/comparing flight costs/looking a temp accom/trying to check out what paperwork you need before you go, and what has to be applied for when you're there etc. My advice, for what it's worth is to make a list. Get yourself a load of postit notes and a large wall to stick them to. Then, as each thought pops into your head, stick a note on the wall. A lot of decisions tend to depend on previous ones, and it can be good to see all the related tasks grouped together.

    Best of luck.

so true xen,big decisions for me may not be big for others ,getting everything to slot into place in the right order is a big deal ,,,all i have to do is rent me house out,fly to brisbane ,get a house, get a school for my two girls, get a job as a bricklayer ,find a good pub, thats it ,,sounds simple enough,, anybody disagree

And from that list, the only one that is at all easy is flying to Brisbane. The rest just lead on to more organisation/research/questions/obstacles. Not trying to put you off. Sooner you start, the sooner the whole picture becomes clearer.

    Hey Hannash,

Great news!! Now the real fun starts!!

Ever been on one of those big rollercoasters like The Big One in Blackpool? This is just like that; you've been through the queueing system on a really busy day which seems to have taken ages, you've been on the platform and seen the people get off with terror and joy written all over their faces, and now you're sitting in the seat, strapped in and slowly being winched up the giant climb. Have you done the right thing? Should you be there? What happens if it all goes Pete Tong? The fear is rising but you can't get off. Whilst all the time, the summit is getting ever closer and closer. The really really scarey bit is about to happen, but you just can't hold back that huge grin.

    Welcome to the ride!!

At the top left, there's a line of options in black. Private messages are under the Forum tab. In private messages you can send a new message. This is where we can exchange e-mail addresses and private info.
