Floating on air!!!! YES GOT MY VISA !!!!!! Just when resigned myself that no more visas were being issued till July - had the fantastic email. It is a wonderful feeling like passing your driving test I suppose.......Sorry but so so happy!!!

Sorry for all those still waiting - I do know how you feel.

Visa Payment taken and c/o assigned:16/02/09
Visa Granted: 25/06/09 ( 4months and 2weeks )

Hi all. I am fairly new to the site and I am just waiting to hear if I am granted my visa too. Apparently the hold up is about my defacto staus hence the reply to this link! I am a bit devastated to think it may take as long as this one did but still ploddin on till the end!
My other half and I do not live together so think that is the main problem. keep your fingers and toes crossed for my guys as I have already postponed my start date for my job umpteen times already and am beginning to think it will never happen!

hi linda sorry it has taken so long to get back to you life with a toddler on the other side of the world from all your friends is just a wee bit stressful. we have started to settle in a bit now but will not b moving to brisbane till next summer. we are moving to robina on the gold coast on sat.
How are you settling in? and where are you staying?
