Looking for an early rental - an idea of costs furnished please?

I have moved your post to its own thread, hopefully you will get more replies this way.

Take a look at a couple of property web sites for ideas about price...

You may get some idea from those sites.

 

The sites that SRP has posted are great for long term rentals, but not so good for short term.

The best ones for that are Stayz and Takeabreak

Cost of furnished rentals...

Hi there,

We are flying on 17th June to Brisbane and have secured a fully furnished 3 bed town house on a gated complex just off Magnolia Drive in Hope island, Gold Coast for $475/week.... after spending almost 2 months looking, this was the best deal we could find.... The agent has been great, and the house looks more than suitable xxx

Hope that helps with ideas of costs.... ohh and I found it on Realestate.com.au and used the filters to select furnished/suburb ect !!!

Hi there, Still searching for accomodation, hearing some conflicting stories about rentals not being available unless you have landed in Brisbane and can view. Did you use an agent or has a real estate arranged all contracts for you?
Please help, tearing my hair out here!

 

You will struggle to secure an UNFURNISHED longer term rental (normally 6 mth minimum) prior to your arrival, but you shouldnt have any problems securing temporary furnished rental accommodation or holiday rental accommodation from where you are.
