We're coming over to Brisbane to validate our residency visas in September and I'm just looking for holiday rental accomodation in the Cleveland area for up to 10 days - to get a feel for the area. Does anyone have any feedback on the Raby Bay holiday apartments as they seem quite reasonably priced or can anyone recommend anywhere else suitable to stay in the area? We ideally want a holiday cottage/house or apartment. We have 2 young children (one will be 3 and the other will be 11 months).

Have you had a look at 'Redlands Retreat' ? comfy home from home living and more space than an apartment which is great if you have kids like mine,lol

I've just emmigrated to Oz and stayed at the Raby Bay Quays for one month.
Great location, next to train station, also walking distance to town.

We've just booked 10 days at Redlands Retreat for September. It looks nice and the owner is very helpful.

That's good to hear. Raby bay is lovely to go and sit and have lunch!!! A bit noisy for me at night time - I'm a stay home kind of girl then, but busy and bustling for those who like a good night out!!!
