hiya guys ,we have been in Brissy just over a year now and have started a relocation company which also offers short term accomodation. We are based in Jimboomba (SE Brisbane) about 40 mins from the city and 40mins from the beautiful beaches of surfers paradise.Should you require any help with your move dont hesitate to contact me,we found it a big headache trying to find somewere child friendly to stay for a few weeks until we could secure a rental, never mind trying to find and sort centrelink, medicare etc,we aim to take the hassle out of your move and have you settled as soon as possible.

  2. How is business going Cal?

I am trying to specialise in business for short term accommodation for anyone that is moving from the UK for the Outter Northern areas ie Sandgate/Redcliffe/North lakes and Sunshine coast suburbs. If I meet anyone looking for anything short term down on the South side I will let you know.

    regards

Hiya ,there are lots of lovely suburbs in brisbane,do you have jobs lined up? if so in what area? ,if you havnt, have you looked at www.seek.com.au to see whats about where in your trade? There arent many 'bad' areas really just a few suburbs i wouldnt personally live in but nothing major. You will find most areas especially the newer style ones are very family orientataed,i think brisbane on a whole is.Let me know if youve a rough idea where you fancy and ill see if i can help you,

its not difficult to rent with a dog ,dont listen to scaremongery, lol, the problem you will have is approx20% of the rental market state no pets,so if your looking to rent in an area where rentals are scarce anyway i.e city centre, coast etc it may be a little harder ,but its sometimes a case of knowing someone, lol!!we have ways and means as they say!,,my new website is due to be launched in the next week or 2 this lists all the services we offer including help before you leave the uk with shippers, quarantine forwarding address etc so feel free to contact me whenever your stuck with something,, we can also do job searches prior to your arrival too as we found we got little communication bck whilst in the uk ,however as a carpenter i think youll find work ready available in most areas of brisbane ,,good luck with everything

If anyone is looking at moving out next year ,be wary of leaving accommodation until the last minute. Furnished houses are getting harder to come by,i am already fully booked until March maybe April and have turned numerous familys away this last week or two.
Book sooner rather than later especially if its Australian holidays as the hotels also fill up quickly.
